Detecting bugs
Our sweeps are designed to be cost effective and of reasonable duration to detect commonly used commercial grade surveillance devices. We conduct both radio frequency scans for active transmissions and physical searches for active and inactive devices.

Our radio spectrum surveys have picked up audio broadcasts in client parking lots and triangulated in on the devices inside their facility. We utilize several techniques designed to identify energy being emitted from bugs that are actively transmitting. We also use techniques designed to locate the components used in bugs (like semiconductors) to detect devices that are not active during our search.

Our physical search technician was formerly a PA State Police surveillance expert. He knows from experience where to look for hidden devices.

One of the questions we are often asked is whether we can always detect a bug.  The answer unfortunately is "no." Beware of companies claiming to locate all bugs. The rapidly changing nature of surveillance technology quickly makes such claims inaccurate.
